"We stayed here for 5 nights. The room was presented in a neat & clean condition. They accommodated our request for a late check-in. We had a minor hiccup on the first night when the bathroom door got locked from the inside & couldn't be opened. Lisa took care of it the next morning. Room service was completed at request. "The historic character and ambiance was charming. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent food in the bistro. We did not stay in the main building but in a very small room at the back of the inn. The dated room did not have WIFI or a TV but it was clean, the shower was good and the room was quiet. Definitely needs new mattresses as you could feel the springs. All in all a good place for a short stay."
