"Everything ok if a budget stay suits, which it did for me. Room & bathroom were fine. Sadly my bedroom smelt of someone else’s b.o. Breakfast: marmalade in abundance! Other supplies were a little lacking tbh & the host sniffing the long life skim milk on my arrival probably wasn’t the best look. I found another little full cream but had long expired. Overall you probably get what you pay for, not great but not the worst either. "

The walls were messy with dirty marks on the ceiling walls & doors. The owner tried to convert my husband to his religion while he was eating his breakfast. " Nice place however I could get a better deal somewhere else for a private ridges hotel but it’s good for a quick stay I was lucky that my whole unit was empty I was only one out of the eight rooms I’ll be back again"

"The historic character and ambiance was charming. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent food in the bistro. We did not stay in the main building but in a very small room at the back of the inn. The dated room did not have WIFI or a TV but it was clean, the shower was good and the room was quiet. Definitely needs new mattresses as you could feel the springs. All in all a good place for a short stay."
