"We had a great time and the house was beautiful. It had plenty of room for the family and amazing views. A 5 min drive to Mt. Abram and a 10 min drive to Bethel/Sunday River, the house is conveniently located. My only suggestion would be to bring awd vehicles if going in the winter as the road and the driveway are tough in the snow without awd. Other than that our trip was perfect and the communication from the owners superb. We would definitely rent here again! W"

"House was beautifully furnished and had every amenity you would need or want. Response of the owner was helpful and prompt. Our family had a lovely time and enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and game room. Plenty of seating for a large group to have dinner. The home was spacious and had many places for groups to gather from the enclosed deck, to lower level outside patio, two large living rooms and an outstanding game room. A fabulous home for a getaway!"

"Cabin was great. Definitely as advertised. Close to town yet private. A few more towels would have been nice. The only draw back is that there really is no place to sit by the water."

"My friend and I stayed here for a week and the house has plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with the usual, but also contained extras like spices and oils.Having just two of us, my friend took the first floor master bedroom/bathroom while I took the second floor that contained two bedrooms and a bathroom. I started off on the softer mattress in one bedroom, but after one night's sleep it was a bit too soft for me. I switched to the other room with two beds, both very firm memory foam....

Doug was great and very quick to respond to any questions, they were extremely accommodating and we like all the food recommendations found in the house. The house itself is beautiful with plenty of space for the young kids and older adults. I would highly recommend this property for large groups and families!"

"We had a wonderful time in spite of gray skies and rain. The cabin was cozy and we loved hearing the ducks in the morning and the loon in the evening. Even had a family of deer with 2 fawns in the yard eating apples. Being right on the water was great for relaxing and enjoying the quiet which was what I needed! Walked into town in between rain showers, ate a lot of good food and ice cream! Would definitely come back again!"
