"We are a group of eight 70-year-old class of 1973 high school ski buddies on our 24th consecutive annual 'skiunion'. This year's event was at Sugarloaf & Saddleback, and this huge, well-equipped house served our needs perfectly. We had a great stay, watched the superbowl, cooked three big dinners, and generally had a blast. I recommend this property with five stars!"

"We had a great time at this house for a 3-day weekend with 4 adults and 4 kids, ages 11-15. We cooked a bunch and found the kitchen to be better-equipped than most rental houses. The communication and check in were very easy. Views from the upper floor are great. Only suggestions would be to add more seating in the living room and renters should know that the floors and walls are thin as this is a renovated (beautifully) camp house. "

"We had more than enough room for the 6 of us here. The young adults enjoyed the game room after a long day of skiing Convenient to Sunday River. I packed a case of water but did not need it thanks to the water cooler. Shut out to their amazing plow driver for not plowing me in while we were out in the other car "

"The Host exceeded all expectations for our stay. We were greeted at her lovely home with hand/toe warmers and smores makings! She even delivered a beautiful (and yummy) charcuterie box for us the second day. She communicated with us everyday to make sure everything was perfect. She had great suggestions for where to park at Sunday River and made sure we knew when the plow truck was coming so it didn’t interfere with our plans. We will definitely come back next year for more ski fun!!!"

"We were 7 adults, 2 children (ages 4 & 6), and a dog. The primary reason for this stay was time together in a recreational setting. All but one of us skied and nearby Mount Abrams was great for the kids as beginners. We also enjoyed Sunday River and Carter's XC Ski Trails.Black Cap Lodge is brand new and immaculate.
