"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...

"This is a great small hotel. Staff are friendly and clear about current regulations. The room we had was small but clean and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also clean. We like to have the windows open and this was possible although there was some noise from traffic. The pool looked very inviting although we didn’t stay long enough to use. We were disappointed that the restaurant was not open for evening meals when we were there but the menu looked good. "

"This is a modest hotel, more in the style of a motel - that is NOT a criticism. We used it for a one night stay (as a break in a long journey) and we arrived fairly late in the day, we learned later,after the time the reception normally closed but the staff were there to welcome us. "Outside is a takeaway with motorbike deliveries, no wall paper on the walls in the hallways (we were told it was being decorated), no real door to the toilet/shower. Didn’t realise it was 2-star but it was clean and functional, host was pleasant. Lack of aircon plus the outside noise meant we simply didn’t sleep (it was August) so without aircon was always going to be a challenge. "
