"When I travel alone I tend to look for the cheapest options and the older hotels/chains. This Best Western fit the criteria, but was pleasantly surprised by my experience. While the motel was the classical design (2 stories, stairs, all rooms with outdoor entrance) it was obvious it had been recently renovated. "everything was fine, apart from the interior lighting. guests spend the vast portion of their time in a hotel at night. interior lighting design is critical. in this case, the room had 'dark spots' which made things a bit less than ideal. Overall however, the room was nice and the staff first rate."

"The hotel was very clean, rooms were large ,staff was very friendly. However, the breakfast was poor. We went to breakfast around 8 each morning. Went down 3 mornings with hot breakfast items like eggs, sausage, potatoes, french toast and other items were empty and not filled back up. We had ceral bar 1 morning ,yogurt 2nd morning, toast one morning. Very unhappy with hot breakfast and so were other customers. "
