"This hotel is a hidden gem. I love it so much I almost don’t want to review it so it doesn’t get too booked. The rooms are large and well appointed with TV, microwave, and mini fridge. Most importantly they are pristinely clean. The staff is friendly, helpful, and highly efficient. The location is perfect and parking is on site and garaged. You absolutely cannot beat this value. I am a repeat guest—anytime I am in Oakland for business, this is where I stay. "

"The entire Staff alone should ALL be Congratulated to the highest extent. The entire Front desk Staff, especially Tania and Jose and Ryan, and all whom I had met, including the Maintenance, who was always Courteous, Kind and above all Professional, TOP-NOTCH! \m/ The Rooms are very spacious and quiet, due to good construction between Rooms. "Great location for the price! Lots of shopping and food options nearby. Parking is plentiful. My suite was clean and free of any undesirable odours or visible stains. Bed was very soft but not uncomfortably so. The building is a bit dated by seems to be well taken care of. Walls are quite thin, I had some noisy neighbours my first night and it made for a bad sleep as I could hear everything they were saying. The rest of the stay was nice and quiet. "I like this place to stay when I visit my daughter at UC Berkeley because of the short walking distance to the UCB, very comfortable bed(s), new shower room, renovated rooms. However, the breakfast is not prepared enough. When I went to the office to pick up some food, only coffee and a few danish bread were left. It was 8:30am."
