The staff are friendly and helpful. We booked the last and cheapest room on the first floor , it was just above a bar which played music until 11.30 every night - fortunately we liked their playlist. "Hotel Arolla is about a 5 minute walk from the funicular and rail station, and a minute from the old town. I cannot praise the owners enough for the kindness, hospitality and generosity they showed us when we stayed with them just as France went into 'containment' for the covid19 virus. They followed the measures to the letter but still made us feel safe, helped and welcomed. Our room (no.4) had a beautiful view of the mountains, was spotlessly clean and comfortable. "It was a lovely stay however only for a night. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. The location is close to Valgrisenche ski and if it snows the entire environment is very charming. I d like to book again this place in the future. "

"Great place in the mountains. Owner did not speak any English but was able to communicate enough. Rooms were just like the pictures with large bathroom and comfortable. Finally got back into Italy where they have you share the blanket, much more romantic than separate ones as the rest of Europe has. The "made to order breakfast", however was just made to order coffee and then bread, butter, juice and croissant. Still good but not solid for skiing. Definitely recommend it again."
