The noise is hard to describe/define but I think it’s mechanical - maybe air conditioning or similar & if I were the owner, I would find a way to record one whole night to determine the cause. "U suites is in a great location - close to the CBD, Te Papa and the waterfront. Really walkable, but because it’s down off the main street it’s quiet too. Really well equipped - dining table, fridge, washing machine AND dryer, hair dryer, extra blankets and pillows. The only down side is that there is no windows to the outside so no fresh air and on a hot day not being able to open a window felt like a down side, but it’s really the only one I’ve found.
