"This is a family run hotel in a property that must have seen it glorious days. But it is well maintained and the age of the property add character which is a very nice change from the typical newer hotel. Also the friendliness of the people managing the property more than make for the lack of newer facility. I would like to specially mention the gentleman at the front desk name Giuseppe. He is always ready to help and provide good suggestions."

"The front desk staff was cordial and helpful. There are no trash cans except for the one in the bathroom. No cups anywhere. Lastly, I am glad we brought our own plug-in’s for phone, IPads, and watches. There were no USB ports. Most hotels treat these items as standard. Ownership really should figure out a way to address these issues. USB ports by the night stands is, I think,standard operating procedure. But it was quiet, and clean. Our fifth floor had a great view."

"Really nice hotel that was within walking distance to all main sites (colosseum 10 mins along one straight road, other main sites 15/20mins away). Room was a decent size for a family of 4 and the elevator was a beautiful old one (one of the 1st in Rome). Staff helpful and sent over list of nice food places etc. Only negative was that we were charged a fee to check in ‘late’. We have in the past been charged to check out late but found the fact that we arrived at 10pm (having paid to sleep...
