"It's not luxury but for the price It's good. Staff is very nice and people are generally quiet and respectful of others. Across the street from the Sky Tower, around the corner from a grocery store, and right down the street from Queen St. "

"Verandahs is a lovely old villa with an almost ‘posh’ backpackers vibe. Its a couple of minutes walk to Ponsonby Road and about 10-15 minutes to K Road. We stayed in a queen room with ensuite which was spacious and clean, with nice linen on the bed. Check in was a breeze and the service was friendly and warm. Definately recommend and would stay here again :)"
