"The property is almost 100 years old with lots of history. It has been recently renovated and done well. It is right on the lake with lots of outdoor sitting and a pier. The staff are all very friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there. The restaurant was nice with delicious food. The reason for not giving 5 stars all across is because the renovation was done to restore to the original so the rooms are small and the bed was not overly comfortable. "Clean! Clean! Clean! Everything is brand new! Comfortable bed, lofty pillows. Nicely decorated. Loved the patio with bbq, corn hole and fire pit. Nicely stocked with a variety of kcups. Charming cottage in a quaint town. Our host, Beth, was an absolute delight. We will most definitely be booking another stay here."

"I was impressed with the beautiful place, high end quality things offered and a great kitchen with great appliances and even coffee pods. Everything you need for daily cook and even the thanksgiving dinner we made. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, perfect. It was just me my husband, my mom and daughter. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tube, and fire stove to keep us warm. Great mini vacation for some relaxing time with family."

"This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night! Don't worry about packing linens and towels (except maybe a beach towel) as that is all taken...
