Dinner only available upon reservation until 7:00 PM and costs JPY 4,000 per person which makes your stay very expensive, if you have no rental car to go out and you have to order meals at the hotel. Pool is small but nice but beach is full of litter and as a pebble beach not very attractive for a swim. If you want to have it very quiet, it's great as there is nothing around...

"I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Iriomote. There's lots of space on the property, including a massive bathroom and a huge terrace, with a sea view where you can see the stars at night. There's also lots of wildlife that can be easily seen from many areas on the property, for example frogs and coconut crabs. The owner, Hiro, was attentive, helpful and cooked a superb breakfast (Japanese and Western!).
