"Check in was difficult and needed an expensive phone call to get checked in. It was not staffed at any stage. The exterior is dimly lit and in a dark area so it was a little unnerving at night. The shower wasn't draining so I had to be careful not to flood the room. Otherwise, bed was comfortable, the room was silent despite being between train lines and in the flight path of Hamburg airport. "

"Very basic hotel in the Hamburg suburbs. Friendly staff. Room is small but I only stayed one night. Close to bus transit and about a 15 min walk to metro. There are no toiletries other than the hand soap at the sink. Beds are hard but once again I only stayed my last night in Hamburg there as it was relatively close to the airport. You can get to downtown Hamburg in about 25 mins by metro not including walk time to metro station."
