"Just what I needed. Two minutes walk from the station. Basic room but very clean and comfortable - if I'm really picky would have liked some decaff tea and coffee !! They happily gave me all the pillows I needed to support my broken arm. Very happy with my stay."

"Overall was better than expected although the window of n my room was small, high up & made the room cell like. The toiletries were good quality, the room looked nice & breakfast was nice reasonable although they had no vegetarian sausages. Although the rooms decor was good overall there were 2 things that let it down, firstly there was nowhere to hang anything as the wardrobe had no hangers and there was no hook behind the door for a coat, secondly & more importantly the bed was terrible...

"One night stay for a gig in Leeds, the lady on reception was the most welcoming of any staff I’ve ever come across in properties I’ve stayed at . The place was nice and quiet and well presented. It done exactly what was required, the only negative I would say was that the room was very cold and the heater only stopped on for a short period of time but that also could have been myself not knowing how to work it correctly. "Lovely, comfy bed. Beautiful view from the lovely balcony. Breakfast and tea/coffee/sugar was a nice touch and ample. Really great shower. Straightforward communication with hosts. All good, definitely recommend and will stay again. Super price too."

"Excellent stay. Property was exactly as advertised. Owner gave great communication about location of property, check in and parking with pictures included. Appartment was clean and had everything I needed. Nice little apartment in a busy area, with a supermarket, convenience shop and a few takeaways within a 5 minute walk. Bus stop just outside. Would book again."

"Arrived quite late around 9pm but this was no problem. The room we were given was quite simply stunning. A beautiful rustic attic room with wooden floors and huge beams spanning the ceiling. There was a 60 inch TV and Netflix was provided free of charge which was a nice surprise. All in all I couldn't recommend this place enough. Staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much to ask for. A thoroughly enjoyable stay."

"The monastery has beautiful gardens to explore in any weather. The accommodation itself is spartan and authentic to the purpose, but is still good material value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the gardens alone, but the unique experience is also an attraction."

"We booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and only 1 room was available. The staff blamed Expedia and we will never know the truth of the matter. We ended up with having a Z bed to accommodate the 3rd adult. The bar was closed by 8.30PM when we got back to the hotel, and none of us could sleep until the early hours due to all the noise outside, people screaming and boy racers screaming past. "

"The property was in a good condition apart from the smell coming from the bathroom- it made the whole place smell like a sewer for entire stay. This made it unpleasant - I complained to the managers but did not get a response. The bed could do with updating as it was a little lumpy. "
