"When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise. "We have just returned after a stay in this property. All I can say is WOW! It has everything you need. If you forget any toiletries the owner David has supplied a box in the bathroom with an assortment in. He even supplies eye masks and ear plugs. We stayed in the Spa room the bed was comfortable with extra blankets if needed and black out blinds. The TV showed Amazon prime and netflix. The bathroom is big with a massive jacuzzi bath. The whole property is spotless. I defy anyone to find any...

"When we arrived, he wasn't sure if I had a booking. Waiting outside the property in the pouring rain for 40mins before I got in. When I called they didn't pick up and there was no in the property to assist. The password gave was the wrong one initially and then messaged the right one after waiting for over 40mins. The toilet seat is right by a radiator and could sit properly as the heater continuesly touch you and heat burns. When we entered we had to clean the toilets as they were let dirty....
