"If you expect a 5 star motel, this is not the place; however, staff was efficient, super friendly and helpful. Rooms are old and rather small but you can tell they continue to update things so that everything works, is stylish and sufficient for your stay. Minimal continental breakfast but perfect for some good coffee and something to fill your belly before you hit the road. Within walking distance to many venues in the city. First time we stayed there but I would certainly consider going...

"Stayed here for a sports weekend and had such a great stay. As a solo traveller, I wasn’t sure about safety in downtown Detroit so I opted to stay in Deerborn. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the property was safe and the breakfast was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend and will stay here again. "

"If you're taking a short trip to Detroit this is the perfect place to go. It's not a 5 star hotel but it gets the job done. Besides, who goes to a new city to just sit inside all day? The hotel even has a shuttle that runs on the weekends taking people to and from downtown. Ken was great and even shared some tips and places to go downtown. Good place and safe part of the city. "
