"I haven't always had the best luck with smaller independent hotel/motels. However, the reviews for the Newport Motel were really positive and as it turns out, accurate. I was greeted in a friendly manner and had all of my questions answered when I arrived. The room was large, comfortable, and incredibly clean. "It was a clean, safe motel, a great value. I have no complaints. Nearby Bellow Falls is only 4-5 miles away with several restaurant options. It served my needs well. Friendly staff."

"We have a very sweet room that suits us fine. Is strange that we have not seen another person at this property since we have been here. No check in to speak of. Our friend is also staying here, and his room is essentially like a closet… so small. Close to town though, so very convenient"

"We had a great ski weekend at Sunapee. The house was immaculate, exactly as described and pictured and perfect for an extended ski weekend. Everything was well organized and labeled and the house had everything we needed. Great view of Lake Sunapee from the living room as we sat by the wood stove. Would definitely rent this house again."

"Clean, simple, cozy, and great location. I have work and business related event in the area and my wife decide to join. She absolutely loved it and stayed there during our 5 day stay while I had business to handle. She loves being near the water and although the place was set back a little from the water... it was great for her and the time she spent there. We enjoyed the privacy and overall time we spent there. "

"We had a very nice stay here in Chester, with relatively easy access to Okemo and other nearby resorts. The historic nature of the house is lovely and well maintained. Kitchen is well appointed and easy to use, and internet / tv works great. Do be aware that the stairs to the second floor (where all beds are) are narrow and steep and the second floor ceilings are quite low for taller guests. "

I was greeted in a friendly manner and had all of my questions answered when I arrived. The room was large, comfortable, and incredibly clean. WiFi worked well, beds were comfortable, and the room was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. It also had a large rack in the back area of the room that allowed us to store our bags off the floor. The property is right on the main road and less than ten minutes from Sunapee Mountain, making it an ideal place to stay if you're doing some skiing. I asked for some recommendations for dinner at check-in and those didn't disappoint. We had a great experience at the Salt Hill Pub right down the street. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back again for sure. Thank you Newport Motel!"
