It's right across from a public beach and pier which was beautiful, there is also a restaurant. We also enjoyed the cafe down the street for breakfast. "We booked a last minute room here as we were snowboarding at Palisades. 15 mins away with no traffic (about 25 in the traffic at 4-5pm). "This was a good place to stay in Truckee. Close to the resorts. My only issue is the limited parking. It was incredibly stressful trying to secure one of the limited overnight parking spaces, especially on a just weekend. For only this reason, I would not come back. "
