"Exterior looks like a building occupied by punkers. Reception was tiny and busy, but effective. We got a day short on our keys, but it was fixed quick enough. Rooms were clean, cool, quiet, and functional. Nothing fancy at all but we had a very good sleep over 3 nights. Showerhead was terrible."

"Be prepared when you check in, you scan a barcode go to a website then upload your passport photos and pay the local tax. Then you get the passcode to get in. Not horrible but should be full explained before you book. -Maybe it was but I didn't see it. Not sure why you can't do it all before arriving at the door. PLace is OK but not deluxe. Owner was very nice and friendly"

"Location was perfect, just outside the downtown with tons of food options nearby. The staff was great at giving recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Room was clean and comfortable. If you’re on the taller side you may have to mind your head in a few spots of the room, but to be expected when in an attic. Staff gave great instructions on streets where we could find parking and there is an app you can use top up payments. Would stay again when visiting Ljubljana. "

"Our stay at Viva rooms was good. The location between the train station and the tourist areas was great. The host was excellent at responding to messages and met us at the hotel. She was really nice and even recommended a book store for us to find a special book. The room was in ok condition, but the shower needed some work (some mold growing on the floor tiles around the drain). The bed was large, but a bit too hard for my taste. "The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend you to stay here and travel around. Go to other small cities and go hiking, if you like it. The city center is very chaming. The hostel has a beautiful mountain view and is quite cozy. Amazing place!"

"Great hostel, the beds were spaced wide apart and the bunks very high, so had a feeling of space and privacy. The rooms were stylish and the shared facilities on the whole kept very clean. My only negative was that the air con unit in the dorm I stayed in was VERY loud, it felt like being the bowels of an ocean liner sailing third class by the engines. I got some earplugs which muffled the sound out, so wasn’t too bad the last two nights. "

"Other than that from the description I expected our own bathroom everything was very nice. For one-night stay we did not miss A/C or a dishwasher, this might be a downside of a longer stay. Parking was good and the owner was very nice. The WiFi worked OK. We do recommend this place!"

"The room was nice and clean; the owner seemed a little put out at first because Expedia had overbooked us and she didn’t seem to happy. When we asked her about coffee in the morning she looked at us like we’d lost our mind! It all turned out fine and she had coffee for us in the morning for a small charge. The hotel is beautiful and I wonder what the spa services would be like. We weren’t given any options to utilize them."

"I sent a email confirming my stay and time I'll come to hostel. When I came the door was shut and nobody answered the bell. So I called the number provided and there was no responce. I called taxi and got away from that place"

"I wasn't sure what to expect going to Ljubljana, but wanted to stay a few days. I saw the capsul hostel and booked 3 nights. It was close to the train and bus station. Has a little store just next to the garage. When you arrive, you use the provided code to open the door. There are doors marked 0 to 3.
