"I usually stay by the Acropolis in Athens but wanted a peaceful, quiet Christmas stay and was given room 103 as was upgraded free in the true spirit of Christmas . The male receptionist is extremely friendly and his English language is excellent. I was given a large comfortable room to relax inside and breakfast was even served on Christmas and Boxing Day, the boiled eggs weee yummy and plenty of cereals and cheese to cater for my pescatarian diet . "The staff were excellent, and the rooms clean and tidy. It is next to a major road though, so was not quiet. The breakfast included is served airplane style in a box, in your room, which was okay, but not great. The staff and the price won the day though, so good value for money, with a large car park on site."

"Staying in Kisifia is great. The metro train can take you to Piraeus port to catch ferrys. It is also a good way to go to Athens. The Hotel Des Roses has a great breakfast. Friendly staff and it is kept very clean. I will return because it was a great value. And because the dining and shopping were within walking distance. I can see why Kisifia is a very desirable location to live."
