"Lovely hotel on the coast. Stayed here overnight with dinner in the hotel which was delicious. Used the pool and steam room, a tad crowded but enjoyable. Hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas. Staff were excellent, we did have a small issue with noise from the room next door (a child with learning disability I think), we explained this to staff and asked if it would be possible to move to another room which they were able to facilitate without issue. "The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. This coastal town allows you to feel disconnected, without having to be too far from the mainland. I would definitely suggest taking a taxi from the ferry...

"Lovely hotel, staff were friendly, room clean but basic and bed not the most comfortable but as was only for one night to attend Hogmanay Gala Ball it was ok for us. Entertainment was great, Meal was very nice as was breakfast. Easy check-in and out."

"I enjoyed the stay. The room was quiet, the bathroom was new, check in was quick, the price was very good, bar was comfortable, drinks were not expensive. Didn't have breakfast. If you are looking for romantic stay then this is not the place but i think it was good and has character."
