"Although Samurise was on the other side of the town, it was very nice. We liked that a 711 and a family mart is right next door. The local bus stop was also very close by, easy to get around. The hostel had very limited hours wire staff. We would have to wait until 11 am just to rent a bike and they were not flexible with renting to us earlier. So a lot of waiting around. Wish they could be more flexible considering we were staying there anyway. "

"We enjoyed staying this property with amazing view of Mt Fuji. The owner & all the staff are very friendly & welcoming. The property facilities is a bit old but very clean. We stayed on the top floor level 4 with a beautiful view of Mt Fuji. You can enjoy the view in the enclosed terrace area. Only downside no lifts so you are expecting to climb a lot of stairs if you are staying on the 4th floor. Staff will bring the luggage to your room. I could definitely return to stay in this property...

"Very close to Kawaguchiko station. Clean and tidy. Has a microwave, a mini fridge and a kettle with a few options for tea. There are two convenience stores about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and Lake Kawaguchiko is about a 15 minute walk. Staff aren’t present on the property outside of cleaning (I think) which worked okay. We checked in and out by a tablet at the entrance. "So our last min trip left us with few practical hotels to chose from. I decided to try a Japanese styled hotel/hostel. That means sleeping on the floor and minimal furniture.
