"We stopped here on the way to Caribbean estate, location was okay but we were very impressed with the inside of the hotel. Although basic, very clean and staff were great"

"Place is very nice and quiet, nice to place to relax, Ocean views and whale watching was excellent, walking distance to the waffle house and short walk across the road to the beach. Very spacious penthouse apartment. can do with some upgrades, like bed was not comfortable, it rained the whole weekend i was there, there is a leak from the top of the small windows which needs to be sorted out, taps needs to be upgraded and some paint will help, having said that very nice spot and excellent...

"Umzumbe Surf House is a great budget option for a quick, adventurous getaway. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the rooms are clean, the view and beaches are spectacular and the atmosphere is fun. Of course, the mood in a backpackers can change depending on who is staying there, but the place just feels welcoming and easy going."
