"I booked this hotel at very short notice, due to visiting the area as a surprise to see my daughter. On arrival the whole building was spotless, and after a short wait, I was greeted by the proprietor. "It was just what we needed for a overnight stay clean and tidy and warm. The bar was good and staff very friendly. The only thing we felt that would make it better was if they did breakfast but they do give you a Greggs voucher for 5 pounds per couple so overall it was good value for the money we would stay there again."

"We stayed for one night overnight at the hotel and can honestly say it was just basic. The condition of the room was not great, as we soon discovered the lightning did not work properly and the kettle in the room was dysfunctional (reported) The bathroom was clearly in need of renovation as the flooring which was used to cover the sides of the bathtub was peeling away. The window blinds had portions missing and the curtains were hanging off. We also noted a strong draught from the window but...

"The pods were good, the bathroom was clean & shower good, both felt new. The keypad to get in the building was temperamental & took many attempts to get in each time, whereas the room one was good. The entrance & stairs looked rundown, which was the opposite of the room. Really good value & free overnight street parking round the corner. No facilities on site but, suited my purpose this time as i was out all the time."
