"Really convenient location! My first time in Andermatt and travelling by myself... i arrived by train and the Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the station. The atmosphere and ambience was welcoming and they have a nice bar and restaurant area, and outisde seating too. Really relaxing from the get go! Staff were super helpful, my bed was nice and comfy, and although I was in a room that shared a bathroom, I had sole use of it for the 4 nights i stayed there! The restaurant food was tasy, well...

"Luckily we arrived in daylight, as the road up to the Osteria zig-zagged in impossible hairpins up from the valley. It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience. The hamlet of Anzonico clings to the side of an Alp and there is no vehicle access to the Osteria. Parking is in a lay by about 50 yards further up. "Very convenient location. Family owned, very friendly staffs. The hotel has a good restaurant, there's plenty of other choices around too. Very close to ski rental shop and grocery stores. Within walking distance to Sedrun train station. Plenty of parking spaces. If I have to find some cons, the sound isolation wasn't so great between rooms. Sometimes we could smell odor (smoke?) from the next room too. Also keep in mind during winter the road to Andermatt is closed, but you could still use...
