"The rooms were clean & the hotel appears to be newly updated. The free breakfast was great- eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cereal, pastries, yogurt, fruit. Coffee etc. I totally screwed up & didn’t Check out on time. 1/2 hour late but it was no big deal. The area has stores, a mall & many good restaurants ( highly recommend the buffet $18 but a lot of seafood) 20 minute's to the capital area( if you don’t sit in traffic) Alexandria is 15 minutes. Highly recommend the Best Western 😊"

"The second night we stayed, there was also an event going on at the hotel, so there was absolutely NO parking anywhere. We were instructed to park in the Handicap spot and not to worry about being towed. Reluctantly, we had no choice but to do that. The sound from the event (bass music) lasted through at least 11:00 PM. Maybe we should have been told about this prior to booking? "Great value for the price. Always worried with what you get with a Red Roof Inn but we were pleasantly surprised. Room was cleaned and as promised. Price was great considering we travel with our cat and didn’t have to pay extra. Other places to stay charge $25 to $75 per stay for our pet so this was a huge savings. "
