"The Royal Mountain Hotel is not in the centre of Luxor, but its position on the edge of the desert near the Valley of the Kings means it is quiet and has beautiful views of the nearby mountains. Khodry and his team are very helpful, with excellent English, and organise good-value tours and guiding. The pool is clean and well-maintained and the hotel food is tasty and authentically Egyptian.
