"Horrible hotel! Yes, it’s close to the ferry terminal, but it has long since had its heyday. We arrived to an overpowering smell of smoke. Our room was filthy upon checkin. Once that was settled we tried to get comfy and nap. We turned the a/c on and it blew in recycled smoke filled air. We left and went to the Marriott. "This is a no frills hostel in a very central location on the Plaza de las Flores. There are no reception staff on site but communication by WhatsApp was good. I was given the option of rooms and took the option of a ‘noisier room’ which was immediately available. This room overlooked the adjacent restaurants and was quite noisy up til closing time. This didn’t bother me but could be an issue for some. The hostel seemed to have been newly renovated and my room was freshly decorated and clean. The...
