"The boss lady ms paula was so kind and checked me in early. Loved the location of my room and the room smelled great. As a solo woman traveler I would definitely stay here again. A bang for your buck for sure!"

"It is a horrible place full of roaches and the water will freeze you one minute and burn you the next. If you reserve a room and choose to pay at the property they will run your card in attempt to charge you before you ever arrive. Crooks!!"

"My daughter and I were in town for a convention. At first, I was a little skeptical, but this place beat all expectations. The staff were amazing, the hotel and our room were clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were the best! The linens were fresh and smelled so clean! The only reason I gave 4 stars overall is due to the exterior door that leads to the second floor rooms did not lock as it should have. I was ok with that once realizing that they have cameras at every angle and watch them. We felt safe and comfortable both nights. A plus….the second night a tour bus of teenagers arrived and occupied our entire floor. As teens do, they congregated in the hallways before lights out. The room was so soundproof we heard absolutely no noise from the outside of our room. I would definitely stay here again over any other hotel in the area! "

"The New owner is a really amazing person, he goes above and beyond for all his guests. He completely transformed this run down property into some place you can actually look forward to staying at whenever visiting or just needing to get away. This property use to be as bad as they come in Lafayette but due to his competence and his great staff he completely transformed this place into an amazing hotel. There is still some work in progress but from speaking to him things will do nothing but get better here as time goes on. It is also extremely safe in comparison to how it use to be. "
