"This was a fantastic location to walk right out to the beach! The recommendation to Gulf Carts was helpful. We booked the family unit and expected the kids to sleep on the sofa beds but they fell in love with the twin bed room. The sofa beds were not at all comfortable but when we were leaving, they told us these are being replaced early 2025. Also note, there is no elevator so if you can't climb stairs, request a first floor unit. View from 3rd floor deck is worth the climb."

"Great place to stay for the price. Bed was super comfy but we did go purchase a comforter from dollar general bc the ones they have are pretty old and not great but the sheets were very clean and we slept great. Mary at the front desk was so sweet and gave amazing customer service. The rooms could use a deep clean but overall I would stay here again for the price and hospitality. "

"We really enjoyed the fact that we got a whole cottage with a kitchen and living room for the price of a regular hotel room. Pools were cool and had an attached snow cone shop. The place is older, so dont expect your room to look like the Hilton on the inside. We would definitely come back the next time we stay in Port A. "

"The house is in a great location and the golf cart is a big plus (they are pretty expensive to rent). Rooms were large and all but 2 (the bunk room and the king room across the hall) have a private bath. One room is located downstairs (staircase is inside the house) and has a door to the exterior.
