"We had a really nice stay here. Good location with a shopping mall downstairs and metro stop out front. Very easy to get to the river on the metro. Big fail was no in room coffee but other then that very nice clean and comfortable despite the decor being stuck in the 90’s All in all good experience and would stay here again "

"Very basic accommodations. The trade off is the cheap price and excellent location for shopping, cafes, restaurants, and Selina next door. It was nice that they included towels (many hostels charge a rental fee), but they were threadbare. The kitchen has no stove, only a microwave. And no luggage storage when you checkout (have to pay 2,50 per bag at their partner storage site next door). The hostel felt dark and damp. "The Hotel Universal is conveniently located in the heart of downtown and close to Metro, grocery stores and laundry services. Also close to restaurants and beautiful sites. Breakfast quality and value was definitely value for money spent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only draw back was that the stairs might be difficult for some people as there was no elevator beyond the access to reception."

"The hotel was quiet and had a good breakfast although it was cold. It was a little distant from the most popular attractions but that was the reason we chose it, There were lots of restaurants withing walking distances. There was a pharmacy next to it and few markets also withing walking distances. The was a bus stop close by."
