"Nice clean and cheap hotel as advertised. Staff friendly and quick check in. Rooms are decent size although separate wash hand basin in room was a bit odd. Air con functional which was good as warm nights. The breakfast is good selection and no complaints. The only downside I found was location which I hadn’t realised is almost as an off shoot of main roads, between a McD and a petrol station. "This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable.
