"I would strongly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling in Akureyri! It is far and away the best hostel I've ever stayed in (and honestly closer to a hotel than most). The common areas are kept meticulously clean, and are decorated beautifully. The kitchen is fully furnished with multiple cooktops, fridges, and sinks. "I had the double room. It is very basic, a bed, a small table with 2 chairs, 2 bedside tables, a bin, a mirror on the wall and some hooks for hanging clothes. The bed was very comfortable, you can adjust the heating to your liking so my room was always comfortably warm. The shared toilet facilities on my floor (3rd floor) were great...clean and always stocked. I cannot comment on food or the showers as I did not use those options. "This is a gorgeous spot to stay. I loved the the hot tub, and our room was quite comfortable. There was limited options for dinner for us, as the vegetarian option wasn't available, but they were great to make something up for us. Would recommend this place. "
