"It is an older Buddhist temple and feels wonderful to be in a place with such character and history. The meals (all are vegetarian in accordance with Buddhist tradition) are a delicious delight. This is from one who is not a vegetarian! The service is personal and sincerely caring. I would recommend visiting Daisen and staying there. "

"요나고역 근처에 호텔이 없어서 2정거장 떨어진 호키다이센역 스이코엔 예약을 했습니다 역에서 코앞이고(걸어서 1분) 방은 전부 개인실이라 넓고 편합니다 다만 다다미방 특유의 칙칙한 냄새가 나는데 조금 지나니 익숙해졌습니다 화장실은 공용이고 목욕은 1층에 있는 공용목욕탕에서 할 수 있는데 아침에는 탕에 뚜껑을 덮어놓기 때문에 샤워만 가능합니다 대부분 손님들은 출장오는 일본인들이 많아보입니다 다른 것은 다 괜찮은데 엄청난 시골이라 근처에 편의점이나 식당이 하나도 없습니다 걸어서 15분 정도 거리에 큰 마트가 하나 있는데 저녁 먹으려면 다른 기차역에서 먹을 것을 사오거나 마트까지 걸어가셔야합니다 이틀 묵으면서 돗토리, 유라역(코난역) 가고 아침에 오카야마, 오사카로 떠났는데 역이랑 가까워서 아침 일찍 나가기 좋습니다"

In Niimi in northwestern Okayama. The Ikura-do Cave is located in the 240-meter tall vertical, limestone cliff side. It was a foggy day, which is why we went to the caves rather than do some other sightseeing we had planned, but the caves were really cool and we weren't sad about the weather, at all!
