"I stayed at the Pineola for 4 nights for work. It was very clean and comfortable. The property was pretty and I would love to try one of the cabins sometime. It was convenient to not have to check in, since the property just provides an access code to get into your room, but I sometimes had trouble getting the door to lock appropriately. I didn't see or interact with any staff, but found the room to be clean every time I returned in the evening and when I let them know about my trouble...

"The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. I asked for a room where there would be the least amount of noise and the young lady that checked me in did her best to accommodate me. The area of the property that the room was in was mostly quiet except for a vehicle with a loud engine which they could not help. I did not have someone next to me on either side! The four star rating is mainly due to the linens and towels in the room....ALL OF WHICH HAD STAINS ON THEM!!! I always travel...

"The room and hotel were nice. The only issue was a gap in the door that let in freezing air all night. At 20° it was a cold night. Had to drape the curtain ovet the door to block the cold."

"Blanket wasn't changed it was dirty. Shower, toilet caked on grime so nasty. The doors haven't ever been cleaned disgusting. The lamps hadn't been cleaned covered in excess dust. Really looked like the housekeeper just made the bed and vacuumed. I always expect laziness so i take my own cleaners and gloves to clean before i even bring in my stuff. Convenient to several restaurants, can walk if you prefer. No one bothered me, guests weren't loud. I stayed one night and asked for later checkout...

"This was probably one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Yes the rooms are super basic, but the hotel had character unlike anything I’ve seen. It’s sad to think every place built now has no character. Hotels, houses, restaurants everything is cookie cutter. This place was special. And the bartender and front room staff were very personable, and gave great info."
