"First, the level of communication and correspondence I got from booking this property was piss poor. I did get barrages of messages for different things. From verifying my identity to being charged different fees to being bugged with different messages saying I have to check in between 4pm and 7pm anything after that, I will get charged Ā£60 extra. They'd stated they charge an additional deposit of Ā£750 but charged a deposit of Ā£500 and extra Ā£75 for the hot tub, which they refused to refund even...

"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, and superbly functional, everything you need is here. In an area which is very close to the Beacons National Park, close enough for access and far enough away from the "beaten tourist path" to offer solitude and peace and quiet. The local town of Llangadog offers places...

"The location was great. It had everything we needed. It was just outdated and as not used often could do with a good spring clean. Great size rooms, and sauna and Jacuzzi bath. Overall a wonderfully peaceful property. Our first trip with our dog and she loved the freedom and the woods for walks. "

"Beautiful property and well equipped for you to make your own meals etc. However, communication was lacking and the guest book is severely out of date with current property contacts. One of our rooms was missing bed linens. We attempted to contact 3 separate people before visiting the caretaker down the road and he was able to get in contact with the property caretakers to resolve the situation. They were lovely to us in the end but the contacts will hopefully be updated for the next guests. "
