As the booking was done through hotels.com I expected the stay to be fully paid, but when arriving at the property it was clear that on top of the hotels.com price I had to pay for electricity, water and heating. This was not explained on hotels.com. Arriving at the property I discovered that there was no bedding, so I had to go to the local supermarket and buy bedding....

The hotel is actually an old clock shop made into a hotel to make use of a space left empty, and it's not just a room but a whole flat - very spacious and decorated quirkily with lots of old clocks around. Our children loved it, especially the bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom! The cost is tiny compared with the value you get for it! And the welcome was also very warm. The area itself could do with a bit...
