As we checked out the hotel, the owner only refunded us back €20. When questioned the hotel owner he stated the €11 was for the local tax. Although €11 is not going to hurt my bank balance, it’s the basic principle, when booking the hotel via Expedia, the taxes are included. Also the rooms do not have tea and coffee...

"Fantastic location 50 metres from harbour. Lovely Tavernas nearby and walkable. Beautiful area close to Mikros Gialos beach. Spyros was such a lovely gentleman and so helpful with advice when required. Room quite basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable so very nice to stay there. I would recommend Captain Nick and would stay there again in a heartbeat."
