"This is a strange hotel to review - once a grand building, now very tired. The room we had was spacious but it took 5 mins to get in and out as the key was temperamental. I had to show ladies a few doors down how to operate theirs, too (so not just us). One socket in the whole room. The tiny reception wasn't manned very often. The area outside was ropey (didn't feel safe unless accompanied) but I have to say, the location of the hotel is great for visiting Pikes Market etc."

"Great place to stay. But I was unaware it cost $37 for all kinds of extra charges Expedia didn't show upon reserving hotel. Including $30 for parking. Breakfast was delicious, but not included. Good service. Very clean. Room wasn't very well lighted. One bulb out. Bathroom nicely done. Overall a good experience. "

"If you know Aurora, you know that it can be a sketchy area, but it also is convenient for launching to several of the activities I go to this city for. With that said, this property belies the neighborhood in which it sits. The rooms are recently renovated and clean, the parking lot is isolated from the road by a nice iron gate and the staff are all very friendly and responsive with requests. The rates are great for the service you get and I will make Best Motel my regular stop when I visit...
