"The Hotel Gunter is a very charming hotel, with beautiful lobby area and unique details in the halls, etc. The hotel restaurant and basement speakeasy are both very good, the staff is helpful, and there are interesting historic features and displays. It needs a bit of TLC in the guest rooms, but they are still quite comfortable, fairly spacious, a good value. Located in a walkable downtown, with free parking behind the hotel."

"The guy at the front desk was very friendly and checked me in very quickly. The place doesn't look real nice from the outside but once you get inside the rooms are very clean and spacious and even have a full kitchen. The TV could have been bigger and there were no tissues in the room. I had to use the spare roll of toilet paper as tissues."
