"In kind of an industrial area at the edge of town more of a freeway stop than a destination. The staff was delightful, parking was convenient and free, the room was clean. This is not a non smoking hotel. The room smelled strongly of smoke and when we opened the window to get air it seemed that maybe workers from the place next door smoked all night there? We were four floors from the ground and the clouds of cigarette and marijuana smoke that filled our room were awful. The air conditioner...

"If you are arriving in Lausanne by train, the hotel is conveniently located between a couple of stops on metro line 2. I chose a double room rather than a single and therefore had a significantly larger room for very little additional money. The air conditioning didn't work and the fridge didn't keep anything cold. I asked the front desk if these problems could be fixed and the very nice lady at the front desk called the management who said the answer was "no". Apparently, management thinks...

"no problems but the manager was really kind friendly and apologetic but the room and the condition of the room and the hotel was not what one would expect for a hotel in a place like Switzerland let alone VEVey. it is tired, it needs painting and an overhaul and the room that I got was tiny, almost no light , dark. dingy and unappealing.
