"Reception staff were excellent, the room was a little "tired" but it is a budget hotel. The attached pizza restaurant was also very good value especially as we did not fancy a long walk into town. The breakfast was very good values for money at 7.5€ with small cooked offered too. Would return."

"I stayed in both the regular and the budget Ibis in Le Puy en Velay. Both were great. For the savings, I would probably stay in the budget Ibis again because it had everything I needed and it was right across from the train station. Both are convenient for touring the town or beginning the Camino."

"It was a stopover on a long road trip. It was a very hot day and we were given a room where the air-con did not work. We got a fan but very noisy. Breakfast was fairly disorganized. Dinner was great, local fare well prepared and tasty."

"The Hôtel Alizé is a modern 1950s-style motel on the edge of Puy-Loudes airport. No worries about aircraft noise - there aren't any scheduled flights in August. "On arrival we were surprised to find that our room was in a motel style block alongside the hotel shown in the picture. The room was a good size with a pretty balcony and large bathroom and separate toilet. We ate in the restaurant which provided good food and excellent value. The staff were friendly and efficient."
