"I really loved this retro hotel on top of the mountainside. I had the mysterious looking onsen all to myself several times around 9-10 pm and it was so cool. The view is amazing and the food was very good. Just know that you are really in the countryside and to get to Onomichi it is going to take at least an hour using public transit. "４人でお世話になりました。到着時間の変更、更に当日にも変更と、ご迷惑おかけしましたが、気持ちよく対応していただけました。 また、家が広く、隣接する家もないので、のびのびと過ごす事ができました。４人ともぐっすり眠れました。 暗くなってからの到着でしたが、飛行機が飛んでいるのを、庭から眺めることができ、それも珍しく良かったです。 朝風呂にも入って、お湯を抜き忘れて帰ってしまってすみませんでした。 今回は、三原のマラソン大会出場の為の宿泊でしたが、来年も出る事になればまたお世話になりたいです。 ありがとうございました"

"This is an old merchant house that has been nicely remodeled as a hotel. It's smack in the middle of Tomonoura's historic renewal district. The room I had was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. This hotel requires some pre-planning: getting the shuttle bus from Fukuyama, making sure basic needs are met (no onsite staff, except at breakfast time).
