Both rooms were freshly painted and had been thoughtfully decorated.. However, neither bathroom had a shelf - awkward - and one room had only an overhead light. "We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. "This is a lovely little cabin. Perfect for a couple of nights away. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed was a bit small and low to sit on, but 2 collapsible chairs are provided. The cover and cushions to the sofa smelt of dog and could do with a wash. The water was cold as the gas had run out but Harry was great and came straight over to fit a new canister for us. Over all, its a lovely place and I'd definitely stay there again."

"The property is beautiful--very historic and full of character. It had just the right amount of modern touches to be comfortable without sacrificing historic charm. I loved eating in the old dining room--very good breakfasts--and being able to walk in the lovely garden. There are also 2 very good restaurants nearby for dinner."
