"Great staff let down by a tired and run down hotel.Plus points =handy for St Malo and helpful,welcoming staff. Sadly thats marred by the grotty building and rooms which need a total overhaul. One of 3 Ibis Budgets we used in our trip this time and definitely the worst!"

We heard the odd sound which indicated we were not alone - quite spooky really. The owner responded to our call but merely to give instructions - nothing more. "TV didn't work, Shower didn't get hot. Strange bathrooms like a mobile home Inconvenient reception hours (closed from 11am-5:30p). We were told check in was at 2pm, just to show up and gave to wait 3 1/2 hours. We were also told breakfast included, but when we got there they charged extra. Only one pillow in room (booked for 2). VERY RUDE and unhelpful staff. Thin walls and old building. You could hear people walking and creaking and banging doors all night. Loud street noise. Not close to...
