"The hotel was clean, quiet and with friendly staff that gave you all the help you needed. The restaurant had excellent food and the staff was fantastic both morning and evening. The room was large and well equipped. The location is convenient with all you need within walking distance. We were very happy with the place and can recommend it for anyone."

"After reading how in the ghetto's in Africa, you have to be careful if you are white. We decided it was near airport as stated, but in a shanty town that was with even driving 10 minutes off the main road. There were no restaurants near, if we went out, we would have had to have an escort. The young woman in charge looked at us as if we were strange due to the fact, after seeing the location, we backed out of staying in the motel. It was the best home or business in the area that we saw. But...

"Murugo had everything we needed. It is a great location, in an authentic Kigali neighbourhood. It has a beautiful garden to sit out in and a nice view. It was clean and comfortable. The employees were incredible: friendly, kind, helpful and attentive. David, the owner, seems to know everyone in Kigali, so there were often interesting people having drinks and dinner in the evenings. During the day there is a delicious lunch buffet that locals also come to. Murugo means "home" in Kinyawanda, and...
