"The Caye Hotel is in a great location on this island. It's right across from the water taxi, close to a large number of restaurants, and right off one of the main "roads". As of March 6th 2025, they are still working on adding elevators and a pool. It looks like they are nearing completion of the public rooftop area. Will be really nice once complete. The only issue we had was that the window style in the rooms (glass slats) do not seal out all noise, so you can hear the activity outside...

"This is a lovely, well maintained, super clean property. The room is simply furnished, but very clean and functional. The mattress & the pillows weren't really to our liking, the walls are thin, and the neighborhood can be noisy so we didn't have a very good night, but it's a good hotel room for the money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. "
