"Staying at the Fairfield Inn was convenient for me after a midnight arrival flight into Bangor from Charlotte, NC. Staff was polite and friendly. The hotel was clean and my bed was comfortable, however I couldn’t seem to get the heat to get warm enough for me and the only microwave was located in the lobby, so making a snack after flying all evening required me to drop my bags and go back to the lobby and cook my Di Giorno’s. Pizza.. Breakfast was a little underwhelming but the coffee was hot...

"The building doesn’t look like a hotel. The sign was not well lit. They are doing renovations which look like they will be nice. Breakfast was underwhelming. The room was clean and large. Be careful when heading out of town towards Greenville, GPS may send you to a dirt road that is private property."

"It was clean, well-maintained and the staff were helpful, courteous and nice. The only downside was the noise from the nearby freeway. But since the decision was made to build the hotel right next to a major interstate highway, there's not a lot to be done about that now. "
