"This property is easy walking distance from the train. It is old world charm. You can hop on the coastal trail, just down the hill and follow it for miles along the coast. The ferry connects here for Ireland. The hotel is older but the staff is awesome and the breakfast superb. I found the room small but cozy. "

"The most beautiful secluded spot on a very small estate, overlooking fields and the sea. The accommodation is well thought through with everything you need (nice bed, normal toilet and shower (a tight squeeze!) kitchen (2 x gas hobs and basics included). "Got there chap was friendly, shown the property behind the named lodge, byildeing smelt of stale smoke, had a double and 2 singles in the room a fridge, microwave and kettle didnt notice plates didnt stay long enough, curtain pole was on the wall put of sheer determination, bedside lamp didnt work, room was warm and stuffy smelt stale now fan available, handed the key over and left."

Llanreithan church Disused and abandoned in its churchyard adjoining Llanreithan House, all trace of its mediaeval origins were lost in Victorian restoration (1862). A foundation stone dated 1493 that was discovered during the rebuilding has subsequently vanished too and all that remains from earlier times is a cross-shaped stone set in the altar.
